Pakyong, June 15 (IPR): In continuation of the countdown to the International Day of Yoga 2025, the National AYUSH Mission, under the Health & Family Welfare Department, Pakyong District, conducted a Yoga session. Centered around the theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health,” the session promoted the timeless practice of Yoga as a means to achieve holistic health and well-being.
The session was held at the premises of Lakshmi Narayan Mandir, New Market Pakyong, early this morning.
The event witnessed the presence of various members of the New Market Pakyong Development Committee (NMDC) and Mandir Committee, along with participation from committee members and local residents.
The Yoga session was conducted by Dr Kuljan Lama, Medical Officer, AYUSH, Pakyong PHC, who is also a certified Yoga Instructor from SYVASA, Bangalore. Dr Lama, along with his team, guided the participants through various yogic practices aimed at promoting health, harmony, and overall well-being.
Expressing their appreciation for the initiative, the committee members conveyed their gratitude to Dr Kuljan Lama and his team, while also requesting that such Yoga sessions be conducted regularly for the benefit of the community.
