Uncle (Kaka) booked under POSCO for physically assaulting 13 years old child at South Sikkim

On October 1, 2021 at around 5:16 pm at  South Sikkim local police received a written FIR from the complainant which stated that, “On  September 26 one 13 years old minor child student of her school who had come to her tenants room where her friend resides and on September 30, the minor child’s  grandmother called the complainant and enquired about her, then complainant then went to her tenants room and saw the minor victim child.”

“She asked the victim child to go to her house where she started crying then revealed that she doesn’t want to go home as her paternal uncle (Kaka) asked her for sexual favours and touched her inappropriately on the backside.” Added the police report

 After the complaint found about the minor child, she informed the matter to Child line member and lodged the FIR.

 As per the local police report the date and time of the incident is not known to the survivor child. The alleged 24 years (kaka) has been taken into police custody and booked under Section 07/08 of  POCSO  Act 2012
