SNT resumes its bus service from Gangtok to Siliguri and Kalimpong with 50

On September 21, Sikkim Nationalist Transport (SNT) resumes its bus services from Sikkim to various other destinations of West Bengal. The services were suspended for over five months in the view of Covid-19 and were resumed on Tuesday.

On September 15, Government of West Bengal had issued a notification which mentioned that buses plying for state of West Bengal shall only be allowed with 50% capacity.

As per the notification, only 5 SNT buses will be allowed to ply towards Siliguri and Kalimpong.

Furthermore, the notification informs that the facility of public bus transportation has been resumed for the feasibility and easy transportation of the general citizens of Sikkim.
