In a grand and inspiring moment, 21-year-old Sneha Tamang from Soreng, West Sikkim, was crowned Miss Grand Sikkim 2026 at the spectacular grand finale of Miss Sikkim Glamour World 2026, held on January 18. She also bagged the subtitle “Miss Confident”, further highlighting her strong personality and stage presence. The prestigious crown was bestowed by the reigning titleholder Vishakha Kanwar, former Miss Grand India, adding greater significance to the occasion.

Sneha’s journey in pageantry has been marked by determination, resilience and grace. She has been associated with pageants since the age of 16 and first rose to prominence after winning the title of Miss Teen Sikkim 2022, along with the subtitle Miss Fashion Icon 2022. In 2023, at the age of 18, she secured her second major crown, Miss Tamang World 2023, also earning the subtitle Miss Personality 2023.

Following her early successes, Sneha took a courageous two-year break from pageantry to focus on her mental health while battling Anxiety Disorder. Her decision to prioritise well-being over competition has since become a source of inspiration for many. Making a powerful comeback in 2026, she clinched the Miss Grand Sikkim title along with the Miss Confident subtitle, marking one of the strongest returns in recent pageantry history.

With this victory, Sneha Tamang will now represent Sikkim at the national level, participating in Miss Grand India 2026 later this year.

Expressing her gratitude and excitement, Sneha said, “With immense pride and gratitude, I am thrilled to announce that I will be representing my beautiful state Sikkim and my organisation Sikkim Glamour World at Miss Grand India 2026. This journey is not just mine—it carries the dreams, resilience and beauty of my state and its people as I walk forward with purpose and power.”

Sneha is the daughter of Rajen Tamang and Late Sushma Rai. As she embarks on this new chapter, her story stands as a powerful message of courage, perseverance and hope—signalling the beginning of a journey defined by grace, purpose and a vision that extends to the global stage.
