The 71st Maghey Sankranti Mela 2026 is set to captivate audiences with an exciting line-up of renowned national and regional artistes, alongside prominent local talents.
The festival will feature live performances by celebrated Bollywood playback singer Shaan, popular Nepali rap artiste Ashish Rana (Laure), acclaimed folk-fusion band Tribal Rain, and legendary Nepali rock band 1974 AD. Their performances are expected to draw large crowds and add vibrancy to the nine-day cultural extravaganza.
In addition to the headline acts, the Mela will provide a strong platform for local artistes, showcasing Sikkim’s rich musical diversity and creative talent. The blend of national, regional and local performers reflects the festival’s commitment to promoting cultural exchange while nurturing homegrown talent.
