Pakyong, December 24: As part of its Civic Action Programme (North East), the 69 Battalion of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Pakyong, organised a medical camp at Takchhang village under Amba Panchayat on Tuesday.
The camp benefited around 130 residents of the village, who were provided with free health check-ups, medical consultations and essential medicines. The initiative aimed at improving access to basic healthcare services in the rural area and promoting community well-being.
The medical camp was supervised by the unit Medical Officer, Dr. Falguni Mandal (DC, MO), along with SSB personnel, ensuring smooth conduct of the programme. Local villagers expressed appreciation for the SSB’s efforts in extending healthcare support to the community.
