A high-level delegation of Sikkimey Nagarik Samaj had a meeting with the Director of, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in New Delhi on 17.11.2021. The meeting was to apprise the CBI about massive corruption happening in Sikkim. SNS team have submitted different FIR to CBI about the corrupt practices in State Government involving politicians, bureaucrats, contractors, and companies. All the relevant documents of corruption are submitted to CBI Director for immediate action.
In a separate meeting with the officials of the Ministry of Urban and Housing Affairs, SNS apprised them of the illegality and irregularities in the functioning of Gangtok Smart City Development Limited. A complaint letter in this regard is submitted to the Ministry. Taking cognizance of the irregularities by Gangtok Smart City Development Limited, Ministry has immediately initiated action and will be submitting its report to Sikkimey Nagarik Samaj within 30 days.
