“Few days back one prisoner from Namchi District prison tested positive, thereafter mass testing of the inmates and staffs was conducted in which 65 more cases of Covid19 was detected. Amongst 65 cases 60 are prisoners and 5 are prison staff.” Informed health department
“Arrangement for the positive inmates has been made inside the prison premises” added the statement
Total of 76 postive cases detected from 491 samples tested, in which 11 cases from East and 65 from South District of the state.
