Sikkimese Sang Doma Tamang crowned Miss Tamang World 2021 at Kathmandu

Sang Doma Tamang, 21-year-old model from Gangtok, Sikkim, India was crowned Miss Tamang World 2021, held at The Soaltee , Kathmandu, Nepal on November 23. 

Miss India Sikkim 2019 and also the sub contest winner in Femina Miss India 2019 pageant, Sang Doma represented more than 1.5 million Tamang communities of India at the grand finale of Miss Tamang World 2021.

With more than 5 thousand followers on Facebook and almost 10 k followers on Instagram, Sang Doma was already a public choice for the title. 

Sang Doma won the Goodwill Ambassador of Health and awarded with Rs. 50,000, won the Best Dress Award designed by Tenzing Tseten Bhutia from Sikkim, currently top designer in Nepal. Also she was awarded with Viewers Choice Award. She was awarded with 24-karat gold medal, a silver crown, Europe tour package and gift hampers. Likewise, the runners-up have received a silver medal, a silver crown, and gift hampers. 

Shyalpa Tenzing Rimpoche and Kul Man Ghising , Managing Director of Nepal Electricity Authority graced the occasion as a Chief Guest and Guest of Honor respectively. Former Minister of Urban Development Shri Ram Bir Manandhar and Shri Parsuram Tamang attended the finale as a Special Guests.

With the aim of representing the Tamang community around the world and for the preservation of traditions and cultures, Miss Tamang World Foundation organized the beauty pageant competition.
