Namchi, January 7: DC Namchi, M Bharani Kumar chaired a preliminary meeting with regards to the celebration of upcoming Republic Day, 2023 at the conference hall of District Administrative Centre, Namchi, today.
The meeting had the presence of ADC Namchi, Anant Jain, SDM Namchi, Mahindra Chhetri, SDPO , Parshu Sharma, TPAO Suniel Sharma along with the officials from the line departments of the district.
Addressing the meeting, DC M Bharani Kumar impressed upon the concerned departments to make the necessary arrangements for the smooth celebration of the Republic Day
Further, he also briefed the roles and responsibilities of the concerned line departments to make the occasion a grand success.
Likewise, he also directed the concerned officials to ensure better coordination keeping in mind the Covid advisory.
It may be mentioned here that the function for the celebration will be held at the auditorium hall of Namchi Senior Secondary School.
The celebration will have the participation of NYK volunteers, School students and the officials and staff of line departments.
During the meeting, the various elements of the celebration including decoration, drinking water, sanitation and seating arrangements were also thoroughly discussed.
