Gangtok, September 7 (IPR) : Chief Minister Mr Prem Singh Tamang in the august presence of Governor Mr Om Prakash Mathur attended Pang Lhabsol Celebration 2025 today here in the sacred grounds of the Tsuglakhang (Royal Chapel).
The esteemed Royal Family, revered Tulkus, Khenpos, members of the monastic Sangha, dignitaries and the devotees gathered at large paid homage to Mount Khanchendzonga, the guardian deity of Sikkim, and to uphold the spirit of peace, harmony, and unity that Pang Lhabsol embodies.
The ceremony reverberated with spiritual fervor and cultural pride was organised by the Tsuglakhang Trust in collaboration with the Ecclesiastical Department and other allied organisations.
The Chief Minister expressed heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the sacred rituals and spiritual observances. “It was a true privilege to be part of this spiritually enriching experience and to witness the depth of our traditions being honoured with such sincerity,” he said.
Special thanks were extended by the Chief Minister to the Tsuglakhang Trust for their gracious invitation and warm hospitality, which made the event a memorable and meaningful experience for all in attendance.
The celebration witnessed a vibrant display of Sikkim’s rich spiritual heritage, including the iconic Pangtoed Chaam (warrior dance), performed with reverence and precision.
