Khangchendzonga Motorcycle Club donates essentials at Denzong Pema Choling Academy Pelling

Gyalshing, December 10 2021: A charity event for the school children studying at the Denzong Pema Choling Academy was conducted by the Khangchendzonga Motorcycle Club, comprising of youths with vision to serve the community of Sikkim. Gopal K. Chettri, SDM Gyalshing chaired the charity event who express his gratitude and appreciation towards the initiative of KMC.

Chettri extended his best wishes to the KMC and their selflessness showcasing such events which require human spirit at best. He also expressed his desire to join the Motorcycle Club in the coming days.
He also urged the students of DPCA to study well, hard and understand the human values as well. He also mentioned that the spiritual knowledge and holistic development is essential for completeness.

The Club of 25 members comprising of youths from West Sikkim established the Motorcycle Club in 2019 are envisioned to work for the society. As a part of their annual charity event the KMC today served lunch to the Students and Staffs of the DPCA, they also distributed 60 mattresses, 60 blankets and 120 pillows to the students of DPCA.

The KMC have thus proved that the proverb of “Charity begins at Home” hold true for the Motorcycle club.
Meewang Gyatso, Chief of KMC foresaw the event and has mentioned that they would continue to organize such events with the support of the public.
