Extramarital affair turned into murder: Absconding accused arrested

A body of 27 years old woman was recovered from one hotel room situated in Pani house Gangtok on December 30 in connection to the case absconding Kumar Gyanseshwar has been arrested by Sikkim police.
“The accused was traced at Bhagwan Bazar, Maasum Ganj of Chapra District on February 1at around 8:30 PM and was brought back to Sikkim further he has been booked under Section 302 and 201 IPC” informed SP Shiva Kumar
The victim has been identified as Rekha Singh (34) of Chapra District likewise the accused as Kumar Gyaneshwar from the same district. As per the investigation victim Rekha Singh was having extramarital affair with Kumar Gyaneshwar.
The duo had checked in a hotel at Pani house on December 27 till December 30, the body of the victim’s body was recovered on December 30 by the hotel management.
“ The duo had checked in at a hotel on December 27 on the same night the duo broke into a fight in which the accused hit the victim with fatal blows in the abdomen and later at night she died due to the injury. The accused Gyaneshwar Kumar was seen leaving the hotel premises in the morning of December 28 and was absconding since then” said SP East Shiva Kumar
“We got a tip from one of our sources at Bihar on January 31 and he was found in Bhagwan Bazar, Massum Banj of Chapra District and was taken into custody and brought back to Sikkim” added his statement
The accused will be under police custody for 14 days and has been booked under Section 302 and 202 IPC
