The District Tuberculosis Control (DTC) Gangtok conducted a comprehensive training program for Nikshay Sivir, a crucial initiative aimed at eliminating tuberculosis (TB) in the district today, June 17, 2025.
The program brought together healthcare workers and stakeholders to discuss key strategies and approaches for implementing Nikshay Sivir effectively.
Through expert sessions and interactive discussions, participants gained insights into latent TB, TB preventive therapy, and the national TB elimination program, TB Mukt Bharat. The training also focused on developing a “Smart Sivir Strategy” to enhance community engagement and outreach.
By equipping healthcare workers with the necessary knowledge and skills, DTC Gangtok is poised to make significant progress in its TB elimination efforts, ultimately contributing to a healthier and TB-free community.
