CM PS Tamang meets newly elected Zilla Panchayat members of Mangan District

Gangtok, November 16 (via IPR): Chief Minister, Prem Singh Tamang met the newly elected Zilla Panchayat members of Mangan District at his official residence, Mintokgang on Wednesday, November 16.

They informed the Chief Minister about their consent of support to Kado Lepcha of Ramthang-Tanek GPU under Kabi-Lungchok Constituency as the Zilla Adhyaksha and Sonam Kipa Bhutia of Hee-Gyathang GPU under Dzongu Constituency as the Zilla Upadhyaksha. During the meeting, the Chief Minister congratulated them and enquired about their wellbeing, and extended his best wishes for their tenure.

The Chief Minister also congratulated the Adhyaksha and Upadhyaksha candidates for having the utmost support from the team and expressed his delightfulness besides appreciating the Mangan District Administration for their dedication and perseverance during the process of elections. Present on the occasion were Minister RDD, Sonam Lama, Minister Tourism, B.S Panth and MLA- Soreng Constituency, Aditya Golay.
