A written FIR was registered at one police station of East Sikkim on February 1 mentioning that her 16 years old, was complaining to her regarding stomach pain. Accordingly, the complainant took the minor victim to Singtam District Hospital where the doctor informed that her sister was pregnant, and the baby had already been terminated, and only the placenta was left in the stomach
Further, when the complainant asked the minor victim she revealed that she had a sexual relationship with one person named Arjun Kumar Prasad, 21 years of Namnang, Gangtok, East Sikkim in a hotel located near Metro Point, Gangtok during the month of November 2021.
The accused 21 years old has been arrested and has been booked under Section 5(j)(ii)/6 POCSO ACT of 2012.
