Indian cricket icon vira Kholi set to return in ranji Trophy after 12 years, kohli conform his availability to represent Delhi in final stage of Group round matches against railway from 30 January to 2 February at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
Kohli’s last Ranji Trophy appearance was way back in 2012, when he played against Uttar Pradesh, scoring 14 runs in the first innings and 43 runs in the second innings, his return to domestic cricket comes after India’s recent setbacks in the Test series against New Zealand and Australia, which resulted team India missing out from World Test Championship final for the first time
Moreover, BCCI has introduced a new rule making it mandatory for centrally contracted players to feature in domestic cricket if they’re not involved in international matches, which makes all Indian team featuring in ranji Trophy matches representing different team including senior players such as Virat kholi, Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja.
