Stars Of Hope announces a Cash Prize of Rs.10,000/- to the CBSE Board Humanities Topper from the state of Sikkim studying in Government School.

The award includes Cash Prize along with a Certificate of Achievement and a Trophy, which will be presented on any given day in any one of the event organised by Stars Of Hope.

The award comes into existence as a result of diminishing importance (people are giving it) of Humanities as a great subject to pursue.

Though the performance of students is increasing every year and more students are taking humanities after Xth standard for higher studies, yet most people consider to be less worth than other subjects to be pursued.
Through this award SOH wish to motivate the students to work harder.

Stars Of Hope is a Gangtok based Social Organisation formed in the year 2015 and since its formation, it has been making contributions in various fields.

It started its work from Waste and Waste Management and since then it has not stopped. From making small contributions to organising a big charity event, it has tried everything possible routes to help people around during their harsh times.

When it comes to Quality Education and Motivating the Students, SOH has always taken it on a very serious note.

As a part of its vision pertaining to education, SOH has introduced and presented awards of the two kinds in 2018 for the students i.e. “SOH Difference Maker Award” to the senior schooler and “SOH Star Child Award” to the junior and sub junior schooler, respectively in Sir Tashi Namgyal Senior Secondary School, Gangtok and Thamidara Junior High School, Luing.

The awards will be presented every year to the deserving students selected from various schools across the state, covering more schools in future.

It is an effort of SOH to encourage students academically and socially through these awards.
