South Sikkim: Tourist killed in road accident

Gangtok, May 2: A 59 year old tourist from Mumbai, Maharashtra was killed in a road accident leaving other three injured in South Sikkim. 
According to the information received from police, the vehicle Xylo met with an accident Kitam- Namchi road in South Sikkim on April 30.
It was informed that the vehicle was plying from Siliguri to Pelling in West Sikkim when it fell off the road near Mandir turning.
Tilakraj Sambhala succumbed to injuries during a treatment at District hospital in Namchi.
Others injured are KAMLESH SHAH, 58 YRS., (2) BOMI SHAH, 58 YRS., (3) NEETA GADA, 59 YRS. 

A case of negligence and rash driving has been registered against the driver, Lalit Chettri.
This is the second incident of tourists death in a week. Similar accident was reported in JN road.
