Sikkim reports 17 new COVID-19 cases, active tally at 379
Gangtok, August 12: According to the daily Health Bulletin by Director General cum Health Secretary Dr Pempa T. Bhutia, Sikkim reported 17 new COVID-19 cases today with 379 active cases and 930 in total.
All the new patients are from the East district cases and the other three districts have reported no new cases.
Currently there are no patients in the ICU at the New STNM Hospital, Sochaygang where 16 patients got discharged on Tuesday.
The Health Secretary informed that the dialysis process of the new COVID-19 positive patient has begun in isolation at Gyalshing and next batch will be invited after the first group finishes the process.
