Child Parliamentarian Anjali Jogi to represent Sikkim in National Child Parliament, New Delhi

For the first time in the history of Sikkim, Child Parliamentarian of Sikkim is representing the State in the 5 days long National Child Parliament being held by PratYek through NINEISMINE campaign in collaboration with UNICEF in New Delhi.

Ms.Anjali Jogi, from Ravangla, is the Deputy Prime Minister of South district Children’s Parliament constituted by District Child Protection Unit, South under SJ&WD has been selected to represent the state and flag issues related to child rights and protection at the national forum.

The Child parliamentarians will be interacting with 300 MPs and Vice President of India, Venkiah Naidu on 20th November 2019 and Anjali Jogi will be one amongst those child leaders. Anjali will also be attending a talk by His Holiness, Dalai Lama on 20th November at St.Columbus school New Delhi.

Anjali Jogi expresses her heartfelt gratitude to Roshnila Gurung, DCPO (South) for carving out such a prestigious opportunity for her and the children of Sikkim. She is accompanied by the DCPO and Sarita Thatal, Panchayat of Barfung-Jarrong GPU.
